MBKM is an Implementation from the vision and mission from the President of Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo in order to make the Human Resource from Indonesia to have higher standard.
Kampus Mengajar is a program that offers an opportunity to college students to study outside of class for 1 semester by being assigned as a teacher’s assistant in a local school to innovate new ways of teaching system which is creative and innovative. Also with the focus of enhancing literacy and numerical skill of the students in the intended school.
The MSIB Program in Kampus Merdeka is divided into two division. The first one is where the government offers an Internship program with certificate and the second is where the government offers the student to do an independent study in an assigned company within the country to get a certificate.
Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) is a scholarship scheme by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students for mobility programs at top universities and reputable industries overseas. IISMA covers two paths for both undergraduate and vocational students. With IISMA, they could spend one semester at prominent partner institutions. For undergraduate path, this program equips the students with the skills required for the future workforce, namely: sense-making, social intelligence, novel & adaptive thinking, cross-cultural competency, computational thinking, new-media literacy, transdisciplinarity, design mindset, cognitive load management, and virtual collaboration.
